Hurt by Catherine McKinnon was welcomed by all. Phrases such as “impossible to resistâ€, “acutely observedâ€, "the direction is tight; the pace fast; the action edgyâ€, “the performances too are first rate†were written by reviewers and then read by a grateful cast and creative team.
Look out for a remount of this wonderful production.
For the remainder of 2016 Kim and Martin are working with the indomitable Red Line Productions at The Old Fitzroy Theatre to present The Shadow Box by Michael Cristofer.
The cast includes Huw Higginson, Jeanette Cronin, Tim McGarry, Kate Raison, Anthony Gooley, Fiona Press and Isobel Hudson is designing set and costumes. Isabel also worked with us on Hurt so you can expect the same quality and detail.
Dino Dimitriades has come on board to produce so we’re looking forward to seeing you all at the Old Fitz.
2017….Let’s say we’re going to have a very full year with plays ranging from a a pocket sized new work that packs a punch, to an Australian classic that still resonates today, to collaborations with a writer and company that we have admired from afar. More information about these projects will be coming soon.
